Roda JC have captured Tomi Juric’s signature, ending “weeks of negotiations” among the Australian plus the Eredivisie club.
Australia striker Tomi Juric has identified a new property, joining Roda JC on a one-year deal on Saturday to start his second European stint.
The former Western Sydney Wanderers forward passed his health-related this week and can immediately hyperlink up with his new club, joining fellow Australian Rostyn Griffiths in the Eredivisie outfit.
Juric, who has spent the past two seasons together with the Wanderers in the A-League, previously played in Croatia for different clubs from 2008 to 2013, creating his senior debut with Croatia Sesvete in 2010.
“After weeks of negotiations, we finally managed to contract Tomi Juric for Roda JC – certainly we’re extremely content with that,” common manager Wim Collard told Roda’s web site.
“Tomi is usually a sturdy attacker, whose way of playing fits with our club.”
The 24-year-old could possibly be joined by one more compatriot at Roda this season, with young attacking midfielder Daniel De Silva reportedly set to get a loan deal from Roma.
